Tori Spelling’s eye is completely damaged because of a simple mistake

After being seen wearing a jeweled eye patch, Tori Spelling has shared an update on her health.

The Beverly Hills, 90210 stars, 49, elaborated on how she needed the new accessory as she discussed her left eye ulcer on the most recent episode of the 9021OMG podcast.

“I’m to blame. I subjected myself to this “Spelling gave co-host and former co-star Jennie Garth an explanation. “I wear daily contacts even though I have them. So, kids, I can come up with all the justifications I want at the end of the day. I don’t remove them. I rest there. You must alter them since it is unhealthy.”

The TV personality said she’s “been known to go maybe 20 days [wearing them],” but she did not say how long she wore them before getting an infection.

“You people, I know you. It is shameful. I tell my ophthalmologist. She continued, “I’m completely honest,” as her cohost said, “What’s wrong with you?”

Her doctor told her, according to the spelling, that she was “fortunate to get away with it” after what she had done “with her eyes for this long.”

She admitted, “Yeah, this time I was lucky. Not going to take it for granted,” she continued, adding that as her eye heals, she would convert to monthly contact lenses.

The most typical cause of corneal ulcers, according to medical experts at Mount Sinai, is an infection with bacteria, viruses, fungi, or a parasite. Vision that is foggy or blurry, bloodshot eyes, itching, sensitivity to light, and itchy, watery eyes are among the symptoms. Eye drops are frequently administered to lessen swelling and irritation, while treatment depends on the underlying reason.

On March 24, Spelling posted on her Instagram Story about her eye condition and said that her doctor had given antibiotic eye drops.

Along with a photo of herself lying down, she added, “Thank you for your kind words and consideration. I’ve been asked by everyone if I scratched my cornea. Well, I have an ulcer on my eye. Antibiotic drops, and the doctor indicated it should ‘ideally’ recover in seven to ten days.”
