People are confused by a picture of a little girl “sinking into the ground.”

A dad shared a “weird” picture of his daughter on Reddit. He had no idea that the picture and the post would go viral when he took it.

He actually found the picture by accident while going through the pictures on all of his devices. His wife had taken it years ago.

The picture makes it look like the girl is stuck in concrete or that she disappears into a paved street.

It said, “My daughter, where’s the rest of her?! “Oh, I see. Do you?” The post got a lot of attention, and thousands of people left comments trying to figure out the trick.

One commenter made a joke, “I’ve stared at this for minutes now and I’m sure she’s half buried.” Others joined in, saying it was like a “teleporter malfunction” or “next-level grounding.”

“Even when you zoom in, this one is really puzzling,” said someone else.

“What a different way to “ground your kids,” said someone else.

It took some time for those who figured out what the picture meant to figure it out.

“Part of the reason it’s so good is that the title makes it sound like you can see the’rest of her,'” someone wrote. “So we’re not expecting half of her body to be completely hidden; we’re expecting her to blend in.”

The girl’s lower body is hidden by a wall, but the design of the wall blends so well with the driveway she’s on that it looks like she’s not there.

After reading the comments on his post, the girl’s dad gave commentsers on Reddit an explanation. He wrote, “Grass pavement is at wall eight. The road where my daughter is standing is about 1 m lower than the grass pavement, where she’s resting her arm.”

People have said that the picture is the “single most confusing perspective I’ve seen so far” because it is so hard to understand.
