Once upon a time, the mighty Emperor

Once upon a time, the mighty Emperor of the Rising Sun sought a new Chief Samurai.

After a year of searching, only three warriors applied: a Japanese Samurai, a Chinese Samurai, and… a Jewish Samurai named Yoku Cohen.

“Show me your skills!” commanded the Emperor.

The Japanese Samurai stepped forward, opened a small box, and released a fly. With a swift motion—Swish!—his sword sliced through the air, and the fly dropped cleanly in two.

“Impressive!” nodded the Emperor. “Next!”

The Chinese Samurai stepped up, released a fly, and—Swish! Swish!—the insect fell neatly into four perfect pieces.

The Emperor clapped. “Incredible! And you, Samurai Cohen? What can you do?”

Yoku Cohen stepped forward, released his fly, and with a dramatic Swoosh! of his sword, he swung mightily through the air. But the fly kept buzzing around.

The Emperor frowned. “What kind of skill is this? The fly isn’t even dead!”

Cohen smirked. “Dead? Please. Dead is easy. Now circumcision… that takes real skill.”
