MY NEW WIFE HAS ALREADY GIVEN ME TWO CHILDREN — SOMETHING YOU COULDN’T DO IN TEN YEARS!

“**MY NEW WIFE HAS ALREADY GIVEN ME TWO CHILDREN — SOMETHING YOU COULDN’T DO IN TEN YEARS!**” sneered my ex-husband, when I ran into him at the clinic.

He looked smug, then added:

“So, you finally decided to get yourself checked?”

A pregnant woman stepped up behind him.

“**THIS IS LISA, MY WIFE! WE’RE EXPECTING OUR THIRD CHILD!**”

His eyes gleamed, like he was desperate to crush me with the news.

But just then, my husband walked in, handing me a bottle of water from the café.

“Sweetheart, who’s this?” he asked, noticing my discomfort.

I knew the words I was about to say would leave my ex completely stunned — and that’s exactly what happened.

All at once, his expression collapsed. He looked small, like a lost child who suddenly realized he’d been left behind in a mall.

“Impossible!” he shouted.

I smiled calmly, sliding my hand into my husband’s.

“Darling,” I said sweetly, never taking my eyes off my ex, “this is *Ryan*. We’ve been happily married for three years… and we’re here for my **prenatal checkup.**”

My ex’s smirk vanished. His jaw dropped. His pregnant wife shifted uncomfortably, glancing between us.

Ryan leaned down and kissed my forehead. “Our twins are healthy, right, honey?” he asked warmly, then turned to my ex. “She’s an amazing mother already.”

The color drained from my ex’s face.

“Twins?!” he stammered.

I nodded, squeezing my husband’s hand. “Yes. In just a few months, I’ll be holding the two little miracles you once told me I could never have. Turns out, the problem was never me.”

The clinic hallway went silent. My ex’s wife shot him a sharp look, clutching her belly protectively. His bravado crumbled, leaving him staring at the floor like a scolded child.

I lifted my chin, feeling years of pain finally lift off my shoulders. “Have a good life, *Jason.* We certainly will.”

And with that, Ryan and I walked away — leaving my ex standing there, smaller than I’d ever seen him, choking on the one truth he’d never admit: **he had lost me, and with me, the future he could never have.**
