Marinated Cucumber, Onion, and Tomato Salad

Ingredients:

  • 2 cucumbers, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 4 ripe tomatoes, cut into wedges
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced into rings
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup distilled white vinegar
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together water, vinegar, oil, sugar, salt, and black pepper to create the dressing.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine sliced cucumbers, tomato wedges, and onion rings.
  3. Pour the dressing over the cucumber, tomato, and onion mixture, ensuring even coating.
  4. Toss gently to combine all ingredients.
  5. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least two hours to allow flavors to meld.
