Keith Urban needs our prayers

After being spotted by waiting photographers at Sydney Airport last night, it is looking more likely than ever before that the rumor that Keith Urban will be the featured guest at the annual “It’s A Bloke Thing” luncheon hosted in Toowoomba may become a reality. The luncheon is held in Toowoomba every year.

The rumor was shown to be accurate when Keith Urban arrived at Wellcamp Airport at lunchtime, mounted the stage at the ever-popular Prostate Cancer Awareness/Fundraiser event, and performed in front of a crowd of approximately 500 people who had paid to attend this very special occasion.

The battle against prostate cancer is a cause that is extremely important to Urban and holds a special place in his heart. In December of 2015, his father, Robert, lost his battle with the disease, and in addition to him, his grandfather and a number of other family have fallen victim to it as well. He was unable to save his father from the disease.

Even though he is currently performing across the United States as part of his Graffiti-U World Tour, the country megastar made the time to go back to his native nation of Australia to take part in an event that, in the span of just seven short years, has collected millions of dollars for prostate cancer research and awareness. In spite of the fact that he is currently performing across the United States as part of his Graffiti-U World Tour. despite the fact that he is currently performing across the United States.

This event is one of the most successful daytime fundraising endeavors in Australia, having earned over $1.53 million for the It’s a Bloke Thing Foundation thanks to the wonderful contributions of the community in 2017. It is one of the largest daytime fundraising projects in the world.

Because Keith offered his time and didn’t charge anything for it, the lunchtime fundraiser event that he helped organize brought in a remarkable total of $2,024,000.00. Thanks in a big part to Keith.
