A former child star is once again making headlines after a recent arrest tied to an ongoing legal issue.

Brandon “Bug” Hall, best known for playing Alfalfa in the 1994 film The Little Rascals, was arrested in Ohio after failing to appear in court for a previous case.

According to reports, the charge stems from a missed court date on December 31, 2024, which was related to a traffic citation issued in October 2024 for not having liability insurance.

Authorities confirmed that Hall, now 41, was taken into custody on a failure-to-appear charge, though he is no longer in custody following the arrest.

The incident marks another chapter in Hall’s complicated post-Hollywood life. The former child actor, who rose to fame in the 1990s, has largely stepped away from the entertainment industry in recent years.

In 2020, Hall had a previous run-in with the law when he was arrested in Texas for allegedly inhaling air duster, though he later said he did not face formal charges.

Since then, Hall has undergone a dramatic lifestyle shift. He has publicly stated that he embraced a strict religious path, describing himself as a “radical Catholic extremist,” and moved with his wife and five children to live an off-the-grid lifestyle in rural Arkansas.

According to interviews, Hall even took a vow of poverty, donating much of his savings and possessions in pursuit of a simpler life away from Hollywood.

Despite his departure from the spotlight, the recent arrest has brought renewed attention to the former actor, whose life has taken a markedly different path since his early fame.
