A Royal Recipe for a Delicious Cake, Perfect for Children
INGREDIENTS
All ingredients are measured using the same yogurt cup.
- 1 yogurt (125 ml)
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup of oil
- 2 cups of sugar
- 3 cups of white flour
- 2 teaspoons of baking powder
- 1 heaping teaspoon of cocoa
METHOD: Yogurt Cake Recipe
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Place the yogurt in a mixing bowl. Add the oil and sugar gradually, stirring with a whisk. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- In a separate bowl, combine the baking powder with the flour, then add this dry mixture to the yogurt mixture, stirring thoroughly until smooth.
- Pour most of the batter into a greased baking pan, setting aside one yogurt cup of the mixture. Add the cocoa to this reserved portion and mix well.
- Spoon the cocoa mixture in dollops across the batter in the pan, then gently swirl with a fork to create a marbled effect.
- Bake for about 40 minutes (depending on your oven), or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
