BREAKING: ‘Survivor’ Star Mourns SonAfter Tragic Death at 28

The reality TV community is mourning alongside one of its own after a heartbreaking family tragedy.

Monica Culpepper, known for her appearances on Survivor, has spoken out following the sudden death of her son, Rex Culpepper, who died at the age of 28 after a dirt bike accident .

In an emotional message shared on social media, Monica described the overwhelming grief her family is experiencing, writing that their “world stopped” the moment they lost him and calling the pain a “worst nightmare” that continues to unfold.

Rex was a former Syracuse University quarterback who had already overcome significant challenges earlier in life, including a battle with testicular cancer in 2018. His resilience earned him the university’s Jim DaRin Courage Award, recognizing his determination both on and off the field.

Beyond football, Rex was remembered as a multi-talented and passionate individual — a musician, aspiring lawyer, and someone deeply devoted to his family and fiancée. Just weeks before his death, he had gotten engaged, making the loss even more devastating for loved ones.

His fiancée, Savanna Morgan, also shared a heartfelt tribute, reflecting on their six-year relationship and describing him as “one in a billion.” Friends, teammates, and the Syracuse football program echoed similar sentiments, praising his energy, courage, and love for life.

Monica and her husband, former NFL player Brad Culpepper, have been surrounded by support from fans and fellow Survivor contestants, many offering condolences and sharing memories of Rex.

The tragedy has deeply impacted both the sports and entertainment communities, as many reflect on Rex’s inspiring journey — from battling cancer to pursuing his dreams and living life with passion.

His death serves as a heartbreaking reminder of how quickly life can change, leaving behind a legacy defined by resilience, love, and the powerful connections he made with those around him.
