Mr. Johnson had been retired for a year when his wife of 50 years had an idea

Mr. Johnson had been retired for a year when his wife of 50 years had an idea.

“Honey, let’s take a cruise! Just the two of us for a week, like when we were young!”

Mr. Johnson thought it over and agreed. He went down to the pharmacy and bought a bottle of seasickness pills and a box of condoms.

When he got home, his wife smiled and said, “You know what? Let’s go for a whole month!”

So back to the pharmacy he went, this time asking for 12 bottles of seasickness pills and another box of condoms.

When he returned, his wife got even more excited. “Since the kids are grown and on their own, why not cruise the whole world?”

So once again, Mr. Johnson went back to the pharmacy—this time, placing a massive order: 297 bottles of seasickness pills and 297 boxes of condoms.

The pharmacist, who had known him for over 30 years, couldn’t hold back anymore.

“Mr. Johnson, I don’t mean to pry… but if it makes you THAT sick, why the heck do you keep doing it?”
